A solid collection of Celia Cruz' '90s recordings for RMM, Carnaval de Exitos grabs several tracks from her best albums for the label, including the previous year's live record A Night of Salsa ("Cucala," "Celia y Tito"), 1998's Mi Vida Es Cantar ("La Vida Es un Carnaval," the title track), and 1997's Duets album (her feature with salsa inheritor India on "La Voz de Experiencia").
