Time After Time Review

This CD skips around a lot but it gives one a decent overview of Sarah Vaughan during her first three years on records. Best are "East of the Sun" (from her first session as a leader), "September Song" (even if she was a bit too young to make its words fully believable), "The One I Love," her hit "Tenderly" and effective versions of "The Lord's Prayer" and "Motherless Child."
