Anthony & Gloria Estefan Honor Celia Cruz At Latin Grammys

(9/3/03, 10 a.m. ET) -- Marc Anthony and Gloria Estefan are among the superstars who will pay a musical tribute to the late Celia Cruz at the fourth annual Latin Grammy Awards Wednesday (September 3). The event will be broadcast live from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami from 9 to 11 p.m. ET/PT on CBS-TV. Others taking part in the tribute include Olga Tanon, India, Victor Manuelle, Arturo Sandoval, El General, and members of the groundbreaking salsa act the Fania All-Stars: Willie Colon, Oscar D'Leon, Johnny Pacheco and Roberto Roena.
Performers will include David Bisbal, Bacilos, Juanes with the Black Eyed Peas, Ricky Martin, Molotov, Alexandre Pires with Kelly Clarkson, Banda El Recodo with A.B. Quintanilla III and the Kumbia Kings, Thalia, and Tribalistas.
Presenters will include Jose Feliciano, Natalia Lafourcade, Daniela Mercury, Pablo Montero, Edward James Olmos, and Miami Heat president and head coach Pat Riley.
Previously announced presenters include Jessica Alba, JC Chasez, Willy Chirino, Natalie Cole, Jamie-Lynn DiScala, Howie Dorough, Emerson Fittipaldi, Daisy Fuentes, Juan Luis Guerra, Julio Iglesias, Jr., Esai Morales, Carlos Ponce, Adam Rodriguez, Roselyn Sanchez, Soraya, Tyrese, Amelia Vega, and Sofia Vergara.
Heading into the ceremony, producer-songwriter Sergio George leads with six Latin Grammy nominations including record of the year, song of the year, and best tropical song for "Mi Premer Millon" by Bacilos, album of the year for Caraluna by Bacilos, and best tropical song for "La Salsa Vive" by Tito Nieves. Singer-songwriter Juanes and producer Gustavo Santaolalla have five nods each heading into the ceremony.
Comedian George Lopez will host the Latin Grammys.
